Homecoming 2021: Penn Engineering Update and “Engineering living biology with nanomachines”

This special event is part of the virtual programming for Penn Homecoming 2021 and is open to all alumni, parents, and friends. Nemirovsky Family Dean and Professor Vijay Kumar will give a State of the School Update including an overview of the newly established Center for Precision Engineering for Health, which will bring together researchers spanning multiple scientific fields to develop novel therapeutic biomaterials.
Dean Kumar’s update will be followed by a presentation, “Engineering living biology with nanomachines,” by Jennifer E. Phillips-Cremins, Associate Professor and Dean’s Faculty Fellow in Bioengineering and Genetics, and Marc Miskin, Assistant Professor in Electrical and Systems Engineering, with a moderated Q&A session.
