MSE PhD Thesis Defense: Self-Healing and Shape Memory Metal Electrodes in Magnesium-and Lithium-Ion Batteries

Bio: Lin Wang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving her Bachelor’s in Materials Science and Engineering from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology, she joined the lab of Eric Detsi at UPenn. Lin’s cross-disciplinary research focuses on self-healing alloy electrodes in magnesium-ion batteries and electrochemical-induced shape memory alloys electrodes in lithium-ion batteries.
