Women in Data Science (WiDS) Philadelphia @ Penn

The University of Pennsylvania is proud to host the third annual Women in Data Science (WiDS) Philadelphia @ Penn Conference on February 9-10, 2022. This virtual event will coincide with the annual Global WiDS Conference held at Stanford University and 150+ organizations worldwide. All genders are welcome!

This year’s theme – This is What a Data Scientist Looks Like – emphasizes the diversity of data science, both in subject matter and personnel. A celebrated interdisciplinary event, WiDS @ Penn will welcome academic, student, and industry speakers from across the data science landscape. All registration fees will be donated to the Wharton Data Science Academy scholarship fund to support need-based scholarships for female high school students.

WiDS aims to inspire and educate data scientists worldwide, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. Use your voice and tell your social network why you are attending WiDS 2022 by using the hashtag #WhyWiDS.

If you are a member of the Penn Community (student, staff, or faculty), there is no cost to attend this event. For all other prospective attendees, the cost is $25 to register. All registration fees are donated to the Wharton Data Science Academy scholarship fund.
