SEAS Special Seminar: “More than Pretty Pictures: Improving your Graphics and Figures”

Felice C. Frankel is a research scientist in the Department of Chemical Engineering at MIT and an award-winning science photographer whose photos have appeared in many publications, including National Geographic, Nature, Science, and Scientific American. Dr. Frankel will present ideas from her most recent book, Picturing Science and Engineering (MIT Press, 2018), and discuss approaches for improving pictures, figures, and other images, in published and presented STEM work, to better express the information contained.
