PICS Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Xuran Wang, Postdoctoral Researcher at Carnegie Mellon University

Xuran Wang is a postdoctoral researcher at Carnegie Mellon University, Department of Statistics and Data Science. Xuran’s main research interest is in developing statistical methods and computational tools for cutting-edge bio-technologies and genetic problems. She currently works on problems in single-cell RNA sequencing and gene expression networks. Before joining CMU, Xuran earned her PhD degree in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science at University of Pennsylvania.
